Citrix Systems - XenApp

 

The application virtualisation and streaming feature of Citrix XenApp enables applications to be delivered to client devices or servers and run in a protected, virtual environment without the need for installation.  Applications that run in their own virtualised environment do not cause conflict meaning multiple version will run side by side.

 

Applications are managed in a centralised application hub, but are streamed to the client or server on demand.  Once streamed, applications run instantly without the need for complex time consuming installations.

Infrastructure Health Checking, Validation and Quality Assurance Reporting:

 

For clients that have already deployed Citrix and VMware infrastructure that require validation on their existing design.  The primary deliverable here is a ‘health check’ based document that highlights current potential issues with the architecture and server build procedure ranging from low impact to high risk, any single points of failure are also highlighted for review.  Included in the documentation are detailed recommendations on any issues discovered, what is causing them and the best course of action required to get them resolved. 

 

Missing Documentation of an Existing Infrastructure.

 

For clients that have already deployed Citrix and VMware infrastructure but are missing detailed documentation to support it.  The primary deliverable here is a complete documentation pack which includes a map of your server real estate, published applications, user locations, access scenarios, server build documents and external facing portals .  We can also provide customised user manuals that provide easy to use instructions on how to gain access to an application suite externally or how to manage a VDI desktop that has been recently deployed.  You let us know what documentation you are missing and we can deliver it retrospectively.
